I am on my way to losing weight, I am looking forward to the road ahead. I am greatful to have great friends who motivate and inspire me to do better with my life. I am planning to be like my good friends Chris and Carl Hemming, still skiing when I am older. I am hopeing to meet my goals but I am not going to be disappointed if i do not meet each one. I am ready for the long journey to be where I want to be. I am looking to be healthy not a skeleton, I do not care what the fashion magazines say, I am my own person and not everyone was ment to be THAT skinny. I am willing to give up my favorite foods so I can be around 50 years from now. I will update this blog often....I love you all and thanks for the support.

My Goals
I have been busy for the past few months working on what I would like to accomplish in the next 10 years of my life. I have not been successful on pinpointing what I am need for by our lord. I know if my wishes fit in his plans, then I will be blessed to honor him. I would like to finish my degree in criminal justice and pursue another in information technology. I would also like to earm my CNA and I plan to pursue this when i get settled here in a few months. I would like to start my own daycare for people who cannot afford to send thier kids to a creative learning school. I want to make sure every child has a chance to learn to thier potential. It should not take half of a parents income to send thier child through school. I would also like to start my own gym working with anyone who needs help. I would like to start a program for troubled teens so they can have the encouragement they need to stay on gods path. They would work on our land and in our gym to gain disapline and love. They should know that there is another way, and i would love to encourage them to look at thier options. I have seen my husband touch youth's lifes before, i think he would be great at it. I would also open a gym that would have daycare, to encourage people to get in shape. Fitness is the key to life, I have friends that are in thier 60's and look like they are in thier early 40's. They are very active and eat right...this is posible for everyone. I have heard every excuse in the book as to why people cannot workout, I have two messed up knees...I was suppose to have surgery on them. GUESS WHAT....I work out and go walking everyday, things that hurt I alter to get the same effects but no pain. It is possible people...you just have to get out there and do it. Start by walking a mile twice a day, and move up from there. FITNESS IS KEY TO LIVING.

Dear Mr. President
The current crisis in America has devastated to American people. We need leaders, in which not one of our political figures are stepping up. You need budget cuts..Allow me to share my views 1.GOVERNMENT POLITICAL OFFICIALS PAY: I believer if the senators, governors, mayors, president,Etc. use tax payers dollars to go on cruises, family vacations, house mistresses, etc they should be fined for the cost of the money spent and 10% of their annual pay. Why should we pay for their fun? I surely do not get a free vacation every year, why should gov. officials? Also if the government politicians do not finished their required workload (I.E. BUDGET CUTS) they should be fined or not paid until the workload has been filled. The American people have to work to get paid, why shouldn't gov officials be the same way? 2.WELFARE/FOOD STAMPS/WIC: I believe there should be a set max pay out for families. Say the government will provide aid to families up to three kids. Why should the tax payers work to support lazy people. More than that, why should we be punished for others irresponsibility? If they could not support one child, why did they have another? Why send the message "we will help you be lazy and irresponsible"?I believe the government could set up daycare aid for up to three children so the parents could work to get off welfare. Set a regulation that if the person(s) on welfare are able to work, they must do so, or provide proof of why they cannot (I.E. Disabled). 3.MEDICARE/MEDICAID:I believe these programs are great but you could charge $5 per person or $15 for a family of four and $3 per child after. Also, If the person receiving Medicare/Medicaid smokes or heavily drinks there should be an added fee. Why help someone be healthy when they don't care about their health in the first place? Also, there should be a set fee for every medical, dental, optometry, etc. procedure. This will ensure fair pricing and make sure the doctors are not over billing the government. So if eye exams are set at $98 then there will be no doctor pocketing $125 bucks because they over billed the government funded insurance. This will also make medical treatments affordable, so maybe everyone will have the chance to have good health. 4.CORPORATIONS OUTSOURCING AND HIRING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS: Fines, Fines, and More FINES...Why not supply the jobs to Americans who are starving and need the income? People will argue this point and say Americans do not want these jobs, but I am sure if you go to a homeless shelter and ask someone if they would like to earn some money they will jump on the opportunity. If a corporation outsources the jobs to another country they should give 5% of their earnings in outsourcing fees. 5. IMPORTS AND EXPORTS: We need to rely on our hard working Americans more than what we have in the past. Every fruit, veggie, or other items you can think of say "grown in Mexico" or "Product of Japan". What about our farmers? They deserve the job first, I much rather have something fresh from joe smoe in Utah, than something that has crossed borders and gotten god knows what on it. I do understand that our country cannot have everything but a good bit of it can be produced here in America. 6.TAXES: I believe there should be a set tax for all. Whether you make 5 thousand or 5 million. This would allow for no fuss over who pays more or who pays less, we all pay the same percentage. There should be fees for those who store money in offshore bank accounts, and if they are storing it to evade taxes then the money should be taken and put in the governments funding. Immigrants should also pay taxes whether they are citizens or not. This is America, If they don't like it then they can go home. We also should stop paying for people to come to our country... we have enough people willing to come, why pay someone? 7.ABORTION CLINICS: Abortion is a voluntary procedure, so it should be up to the person getting the procedure to pay.....no medicare/medicaid assistance. The taxpayers should, once again, not reward irresponsibility. There are other ways. 8.GOVERNMENT IRRESPONSIBLE SPENDING: In one month the white house spent ONE BILLION dollars on disposable coffee cups, coffee, and donuts. Why are we paying for that again? Its a persons responsibility to take care of themselves, not the taxpayers. Everyone in the white-house gets a paycheck, they can pay for their own coffee and donuts. A billion dollars could have fed homeless people for months, let me guess you threw out the extras? How about having a video-chat meeting instead of paying for each person to come to the white house? Then holding a real meeting every quarter/ twice a year just to make sure everyone is on track. Not using Air force one could save our country a good bit of money. Does the president really need to fly that often anyways? I am sure there is nothing so serious, that it cant be held over the phone, or video conference. These are just a few spending issues in the white house, I am sure you can find more cuts. We as the American people have a voice and we have the right to be heard. We should have a vote as to what laws are passed, What organizations funding are cut, and what bills are going to be passed. Our governors, senators, and all other political figures are only looking out for themselves, not what is best for the American people. Put the issues in our hands and I guarantee wee will have an answer before any of our leaders will.

The FUED
I am through with the constant battling between you. I am not here to choose between the two of you. There is no "which is better for me". I know who I want to see. It is not either of the defeated sides. So go ahead and say your good byes. In the eyes of a strong soul you will see me. In the arms of a muscle bound soldier is where I will be. It was never a contest between the two of you and the third party. but you could not see the conclusion because you were to cold hearted. The needs of you are not of my concern. I am not worried by your destruction. You may try to burn me to ashes, but like the Phoenix, prepare for my Resurrection. I am stronger now than I have ever been. But no thanks to my keen. The few that stuck beside me will always have a piece of my heart. For the others you only pierced me like a dart. No worries though, my wounds will heal. But as for you, your thoughts I will steal. On your mind I will always be, but you will only see the ass end of me.

Is our soldiers really being paid enough?
I received an email about the statement of Cindy Williams who was appointed Director of National Security by Pres. Obama. Her statement was that there would be no pay raise for the military because our military gets paid more than enough. Well my friends let me give you insight to exactly how much our military gets paid... Starting out in the military i got 800 dollars a month. Between a car payment, Insurance, and a phone bill.... Lets just say that i barely got by. My husband now is an E-6 and we get paid 4200 a month. Now this is not bad, but he has been in almost 10 years now and we have a family to provide for. So our average monthly bills are around 2,200. Which leaves us about 2,000 for food and gas, with rising state taxes a 10 cents on the dollar, so that is 200 in taxes. plus this state has a road tax fee on almost everything.... so that is another 7 cents to gas prices, 30 dollars to tags, 3 dollars on oil changes, Am I making you guys think yet. We do well for a young couple but i do feel for the people who come into the military with a family making only about 1500 a month. You can pretty much say that they are struggling.
Now that I have given you insight on how much the military makes, lets open your eyes to how much people make doing the same thing as the military in the civilian world. Police officers start off pay is 27,000 a year, not much but still more than Military Police. My husband could be making a six figure salary doing the exact same job but better hours in the civilian world. He works anywhere from 70-100 hours a week.....seems impossible but its not. The civilians work maybe 40 hours a week. So people ask why do us military people stay in if the pay is so bad....Its simple.... WE LOVE OUR COUNTRY AND WILL DO ANYTHING TO KEEP OUR COUNTRY SAFE. There is a sense of pride and nothing else can give you that same feeling. If you have ever served then you know what i mean.
So in conclusion, I feel that we should pay our senators, governors, president, mayors, and other officials less and give the difference to the military and Civil Service members (police officers, fire departments, etc). Also our veterans need more support, 23% are homeless which 49% of them served in Vietnam. There are around 2 million homeless in America, that is 460,000 Homeless Veterans. Can we not do any better for our Military, the people who give their lives for us to have a better one?

What about our soldiers?
I have just been informed of the things my husband and his fellow soldiers had to go through. I have just now been told about the soldiers not having adequate protective gear. Some soldiers did not even have protective vest, and the ones who did have vest had defective plates. My husband wore an defective k-pod (helmet), so defective that throwing a rock at it cracked it. So I want to know what is more important, our government officials living in mansions in 7 different states or our soldiers that they have sent to war? As of right now I am seeing a trend, The government is looking at our soldiers as if they dispensable. Our Soldiers deserve more than this, There is no reason to have to worry that my husband is getting the right protective gear. If our government can spend billions on balls, which the American people are not welcome to come to, but they cannot spend billions on the adequate gear for our soldiers in a war that is being pushed by our government. What is the point in sending our men to war when they are not willing to push for the proper gear? These flaws in the government need to be know, so please tell everyone you know about these facts, hopefully they will soon be seen by someone of high power. Someone who can actually use these facts to push for the gear for our soldiers.

Moving Again
My Family is on the move again, Back to Alaska. We are soon to be looking forward to the harsh winters once again, but boy do we miss them. Nothing is really set in stone till we are on our way but things are starting to look really well. I am going back for my job at TSA, and most likely will be getting it. We are so happy to be coming back, and for good. We are looking at houses, so we are staying for good. I never thought I would miss Alaska so much, But the south has put a damper on our life. The racism, the unkindness, and the problems that we have encountered are disturbing. I am not one to look at the negatives, but there is no reasoning in some of the hassles we have put up with. There is a defined line between blacks and whites here, and my family is in between. I am happy to say that I am blessed with a great family and friends. We have met a great couple, Mrs. Suzan and Mr. Mike. There are truly a blessing to us, I am glad that god was able to put them in our life. Just as I am thankful for The Harris family, Aunt Chris and Uncle Carl, The whole Condo Group (with few exceptions), Ms.Kim and my buddy Kyle, Ms. Amber, Mrs. Faye and Mr. Neil, and a Few others. I am truly blessed, thank you all for standing next to my family for so long. I love you all and hope to see all of you soon.
